Metaverse Investment Prospect

Now Metaverse is no longer a trend, but an actual investment, and its position become stronger.

ARK Investment mentioned Metaverse in the investment target area "Big Idea 2021", selected "Virtual Worlds" as a promising area, and promoted investment in related companies, increasing its stake in Unity, and purchasing 500,000 shares of ROBLOX on the day of listing.

Metaverse platform ROBLOX was listed on the NASDAQ after the investment, and in February 2020, when the G round investment was launched, it raised $150 million and was valued at $4 billion, but successfully raised $520 million in the H round of investment, and the value of the enterprise reached $29.5 billion, a sharp increase of more than 600%. Since listing on NASDAQ in March 2021, its market value has risen from $37 billion to $470 as of August.

In addition to ROBLOX, the value of companies that own the technologies at the heart of the Metaverse space is rising dramatically. Recently, the value of MetaVerse companies such as KOPN, AR Glass enterprise VUZIX, GPU/OMNIVERSE, and other technologies that have the technology needed for MetaVerse display has increased significantly, and funds and financial products centered on MetaVerse have also been listed.
